The school is also home to various other cliques, like the stylish Iro Otoko-gumi, led by Shou Kireide; the rebellious Ban-gumi, headed by You Nihiruda; the athletic Ude-gumi, under the guidance of Kai Undou; and the formidable Onna-gumi, spearheaded by Jako Amano. With the arrival of spring, a lively and comedic coming-of-age story unfolds, highlighting the everyday experiences of these colorful individuals.

Kentarou Sanada, a former salaryman struggling to find work after his previous company went bankrupt, submits numerous job applications. When he arrives for what he believes is a standard job interview, he instead discovers it is actually an idol audition. Much to his surprise, he is called back and told he has been selected. Along with five other men in their forties, Sanada joins Eternal Boys, a newly formed idol group created to prove that age should not prevent someone from becoming a star. As these middle-aged idols strive to make their mark in an industry dominated by much younger talent, they must face the question of whether their age will be a disadvantage or whether their life experiences will ultimately lead them to success.

17-year-old runaway Yui and 8-year-old Hiyori, who lost her family and her ability to speak, find themselves with nowhere to go when they encounter Kiwa, an eccentric elderly woman. She invites them to stay in a somewhat rundown old house overlooking the sea, a Mayoiga. The bite does not immediately transform Kou; instead, he learns that full conversion requires being bitten by someone he truly loves. Desiring to abandon his mundane human existence, Kou resolves to fall in love with Nazuna to complete his transformation into a vampire.
