Long ago, when gods, demons, and humans lived together, the immortal Chang'er and his disciple Xiao Liang enjoyed a calm existence inside the Floating Light Cave. Their peace was disrupted when the demon king Dapeng came hunting for them. Left with no alternative, the frightened Xiao Liang joined forces with the crafty scholar Jiang Cheng and the steadfast monk Chongming to search for Cloud Dwelling, the legendary home of immortals. Along the way, the three faced many obstacles, experienced heartfelt romances, and endured tests of friendship and looming dangers. At the same time, a vast plot involving all three realms started to take shape around them.
