The narrative centers on the girls who serve as connectors for the world. Rin was lost in her daydreams, as always. Among the countless worlds that passed behind her closed eyelids as visions, some resembled the real world we inhabit, while others were fantastical realms defying logic. Lynn existed within all of them, and in each, she had five close friends she considered her best companions. One day, as though pulled down by some force, each world gradually disintegrates, causing them to influence one another until one world transforms into another. Eventually, a single world collapsed, and the memories of those five girls reawaken in our world. Following Rin's path, the truth lies ahead. To reach that destination, all the girls chose to speak to us and to the world.

Music video directed by Ryou Sasaki for the song Biri-Biri by YOASOBI. A joint project between the musical duo YOASOBI and the Pokémon media franchise, the song draws from a special novel written for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet titled "Kimi to Ameagari wo" (After the Rain with You), authored by Ayano Takeda under the supervision of The Pokémon Company and Game Freak. Two versions of the video exist: a Japanese version published on November 18, 2023, and an English-language rendition of the song, also called "Biri-Biri" by YOASOBI, uploaded on December 4, 2023.

Massara is a short film based on the debut solo single of the same name by Kiyoe Yoshioka (of Ikimono-gakari). Directed by Keita Nagahara and produced by Enishiya Inc., the story follows Nazuna, a singer-songwriter struggling with her career and thinking about abandoning her dreams, and Yuna, an extremely timid young girl. Their meeting by chance encourages one another to keep moving forward on their own paths toward a brighter future.

Several collaborative commercials featuring original scenes were part of Weathering with You. The companies that have taken part up to now are the beverage company Suntory, the technology corporation SoftBank, the job hunting service Baitoru, and the real estate firm Misawa Homes.

The music video for Eve's single Kokoro Yohou was created as a commercial for Lotte's Ghana brand chocolates and functions as the theme song for Lotte's 2020 Valentine's day campaign "PINK VALENTINE". The lively video follows three friends as they get ready to confess to their respective crushes on Valentine's Day—using Ghana Chocolate, a product made by Lotte in Japan.

Traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence arrives in the village of Pasloe with a load of fur pelts. Local legend speaks of an ancient agreement between a villager and the wolf deity Holo, which once ensured plentiful wheat harvests for Pasloe, though these stories have largely faded from memory over time. After finishing his business in Pasloe, Lawrence sets off toward his next destination. To his surprise, he discovers a nude young woman with animal ears sleeping among his furs. She reveals herself to be Holo, the legendary wolf deity from the old tales. Holo wishes to return to her northern homeland and convinces Lawrence, after some initial hesitation, to take her along on his travels. She offers to help their partnership by using her sharp intellect and accumulated wisdom to assist Lawrence with his trading ventures. Together, they navigate various business opportunities and face numerous challenges that test both their abilities and their deepening bond.

An alien shaped like a squid, called a Happian, travels from his home planet to bring joy throughout the universe. After arriving on Earth, he barely escapes being caught by humans and is rescued by a quiet young girl named Shizuka Kuze. Shizuka feeds him and gives him the name Takopii. Thankful for her kindness, Takopii focuses all his efforts on making Shizuka smile. But this mission proves harder than he expected. Shizuka is bullied by her classmates, has no father in her life, and her mother is rarely around—though the innocent Takopii does not understand how serious these problems are. Still, Shizuka finds comfort in her dog, Chappy. Her closeness with Chappy makes Takopii even more determined to bring happiness to her face. Takopii's attempts to cheer up Shizuka often lead to surprising results, but he stays committed to using his tentacles to take control, learn more about human feelings, and carry out his goal of spreading happiness.
