In the second season of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., psychic protagonist Kusuo Saiki persists in his quest to maintain a normal life despite his extraordinary abilities. Although he has become more skilled at managing his troublesome friends, who remain his biggest hindrance to tranquility, his challenges are far from over. New eccentric characters join the narrative, and their chaotic behavior only deepens the complications surrounding Saiki's desire for peace, rendering his dream of a life without trouble increasingly distant.

Kusuo Saiki views his psychic abilities as a curse rather than a blessing. Possessing powers like telepathy and x-ray vision, he merely wishes to lead a mundane, tranquil existence, free from the complications his talents create. Despite his best efforts to conceal his supernatural gifts from those around him, Saiki continually attracts the attention of eccentric individuals, such as the dim-witted Riki Nendou and the paranoid Shun Kaidou. While battling this relentless chaos, Saiki realizes that securing the ordinary life he desperately desires is far more difficult than he ever anticipated.
