While chasing a demon, a Taoist priest uncovers that a young girl in a particular household has been brought up by the monster. From childhood, she has ingested demon cores, changing her physical constitution. Forced to leave her behind because of a heavenly ordeal, the demon abandons her. The priest takes the girl under his protection and bestows upon her the Taoist name Shang Shan. Together, they journey across the mortal realm, dedicated to eliminating demons and purging evil spirits.

SHAREDOL combines two concepts chosen from roughly 15 proposals submitted by young producers at Toei Animation and Sotsu. The Toei group suggested a story about a modern-day ordinary young man who time-travels to a realm blending the Edo period with the near future, forging his own fate. Meanwhile, the Sotsu group proposed an idol who goes back in time to the Edo era. This led to the creation of a pilot film centered on the themes of "Edo" and "Idol." The narrative of SHAREDOL takes place during the Edo period's Kansei era (1789–1800), a time when entertainment faced severe restrictions. Operating on the premise "What if contemporary idol expertise were applied to develop Edo girls?" it portrays the idol endeavors of girls grappling with personal issues. The protagonist manages six girls—a teahouse girl, a samurai girl, a Dutch trading house girl, a merchant girl, an oiran (high-ranking courtesan), and a kunoichi (female ninja)—each leading distinct lives.

A donghua adaptation of the game Dungeon & Fighter, set in the year 981 after the "cursed light of Kazan" descends upon the continent of Arad. Baron, whose one arm is afflicted by the curse, discovers a sword inhabited by the spirit Roxy and embarks on a journey to uncover the mystery behind the curse, gathering allies along the way. This is followed by a second season titled Arad: Reversal of Fate.

Gou is intent on finding the legendary treasure of Salamander. While searching, he meets Ren, a fairy on a quest to locate the four treasures of the Heart. Mari, Gou's childhood friend, grows frustrated with his obsessive hunt for treasure, yet she forms a bond with another fairy named Rin. The treasure hunt involving Gou and Ren interferes with a secret project overseen by Mari's father. In the end, Salamander turns out to be something far different from what Gou initially expected.

Ever since she was young, Su Xiao has been socially ostracized because of her fierce appearance. Now an actress, she constantly lands roles as villains. Her situation changes when Xiao Jian, a well-known investor and actor, sees a strange interaction between Su Xiao and his manager. To keep him quiet, Su Xiao agrees to a contract with Xiao Jian.
