During the Heisei era, Bow, a stray dog, lives a carefree existence. Far from being heroic, he displays ordinary canine habits—drooling when hungry, wagging his tail in delight, and barking with enthusiasm—though he is noticeably less handsome and less sharp than other dogs. However, despite the trouble his thoughtless actions often cause, Bow somehow manages to charm everyone around him. From schoolchildren to a reclusive cartoonist, and even a yakuza family, various people become important parts of Bow's life.
