Colin MacLeod, an immortal Highlander from Scotland, joins forces with the cunning spirit Amergan on a mission to track down Marcus Octavius, an immortal tyrant who murdered Colin's loved one centuries ago on the Celtic fields. The once-bustling metropolis of New York now lies submerged, with a single towering fortress standing above the waves—Marcus Octavius's stronghold. As MacLeod journeys through this transformed world, he wrestles with the dilemma of whether to assist the surviving inhabitants of New York or to keep his oath to face his archenemy.

As German forces advance toward Moscow, threatening the Soviet Union's very survival, the country places its hopes in the First Squad—a special unit of young people with supernatural abilities operating within Soviet intelligence. However, Nadya Ruslanova, the squad's sole remaining member, suffers from amnesia and is deemed unfit for combat. In the eerie, desolate world of Tenshi no Tamago, normal life has vanished. Strange sights fill the landscape: floating orbs encasing statues of deities, massive unmanned tanks, fishermen chasing phantom fish shadows, and caves adorned only with glass jars of water. Through this decaying environment, a young girl cares for a large egg while foraging for food. She meets a mysterious man carrying a cross on his back, who becomes fascinated by the girl and the secret within her egg. As they wander the ruined land together, they engage in thoughtful discussions about faith, the meaning of existence, and the origins of their own lives.

Every five years, the galaxy's most thrilling race, Redline, takes place with no rules, forcing racers to push their limits. Fearless driver JP knows this intensity well. After barely qualifying for Redline, he anticipates competing against top rivals, especially the striking newcomer Sonoshee McLaren—the only other human qualifier. This year's Redline is particularly risky, held on Roboworld, a planet with a trigger-happy military and opportunistic criminals who plan to use the race for their own gain.
