In a far-off future, humanity has been pushed to the edge of extinction by enormous creatures called Klaxosaurs, forcing the survivors to dwell inside massive fortified cities known as Plantations. Children raised in these cities are trained to pilot giant mechas called FranXX—the only weapons capable of fighting the Klaxosaurs—in male-female pairs. With a new partner at his side, Hiro has been given a chance to redeem his past failures—but at what price?

In the Ueno district of Tokyo, the Colors operate as a trio dedicated to protecting the city through good deeds and community service—or so they imagine. In truth, they are merely three young girls: the timid Yui Akamatsu, the boisterous Sacchan, and the video game–obsessed Kotoha, who spend their days playing pretend and exploring the neighborhood. Their activities are supported by the grandfatherly Daigorou "Pops" Kujiraoka, who uses trinkets from his store to keep the energetic trio entertained. Not everyone welcomes the Colors, however. Local policeman Saitou simply wants to handle his regular duties, but often finds himself the focus of the Colors' attention, cast as the villain in most of their fantasies. Despite his irritation, he always makes time to play along with the three girls' games. Though the Colors do not actually protect Ueno, they certainly help brighten everyone's day.

Suspecting that the Toji face betrayal from within, the two are forced to flee the tournament, clashing with former comrades along the way.

In a world where people stand only a few inches tall, two young women, Hakumei and Mikochi, share a home built into a tree. Hakumei is an energetic, tomboyish carpenter, while Mikochi is a calm, feminine tailor. Despite their contrasting personalities, they get along well and enjoy their daily lives in the forest. The pair spend their time working, embarking on sightseeing adventures, and making shopping trips to the Tsumiki Marketplace by the ocean. Along the way, they befriend many characters, including sentient woodland creatures like Iwashi the weasel and fellow miniature people such as the songstress Konju and the inventor Sen. Hakumei to Mikochi offers a relaxing glimpse into the everyday lives of its protagonists as they explore and interact with their tiny, fairy-tale-like world.

Standing under the blazing sun for hours or traveling great distances from home, the beautiful high school student Koizumi will stop at nothing to satisfy her craving for ramen. However, these solitary excursions take a turn when classmate Yuu Oosawa becomes smitten with her and starts tagging along uninvited on Koizumi’s outings. As Yuu continues to be astonished by Koizumi’s massive appetite, she discovers the boundless variety of ramen from what may be its ultimate expert.

Kouta Hasegawa is an ordinary high school student who treasures his Pompompurin plush—a Sanrio character inspired by a Golden Retriever—that his grandmother gave him when he was little.
