Spring 1975 Anime

Maya, a newborn honeybee, is filled with curiosity about the world around her. From the moment she is born, she is raised to be a worker bee, but her individuality and strong desire for independence make it hard for her to comprehend and obey the hive's strict regulations. After gathering all the honey near the honeycomb, Maya decides to embark on an adventure to locate a flower garden so she can collect more honey for the hive. Her motives are good, but because she departs without permission, the Queen sends Maya's friend Willy to search for the little troublemaker. Willy joins Maya on her journey, and together, beyond their familiar hive, the two friends are amazed by the sheer beauty nature offers. Through many experiences—some delightful, others terrible or sad—and meetings with various insects, Maya grows into a strong and wise honeybee.

Gamba, a daring wild mouse, sets out on a journey with his companions to reach the ocean, but along the way he encounters an injured mouse and learns of the brutality inflicted by the white ferret Noroi. Moved by this, Gamba resolves to aid the mice who are oppressed under Noroi's cruel rule.

Following the final defeat of the Dinosaur Empire and the demise of Musashi Tomoe in the original Getter Robo series, Dr. Saotome, the creator of the Getter Robo, worries that the peace achieved by the team will be fleeting and that more formidable adversaries will emerge. His concerns prove well-founded with the arrival of the militaristic Hyakki, or "Hundred demons," Empire. In response, Dr. Saotome is ready, having developed the even more powerful Getter Robo G and established a new base. With Musashi Tomoe gone, he recruits baseball player Benkei Kuruma to serve as the third pilot.

After sleeping for 12,000 years, the Demon Empire awakens to take over Earth. Reideen, the giant mecha-like protector of the lost continent Mu, detects the evil presence and rises from its golden pyramid. It then reveals to young Japanese boy Akira Hibiki that he is the only descendant of the ancient Mu people and must assist Reideen in saving the planet. Akira is aided by his friends: token girl Mari Sakurano, daughter of a scientist battling the Demon Empire, and several members of his high school soccer team.

The narrative unfolds in Paris on the night before the French Revolution. The common people suffer under the tyranny of Louis XVI. To free them from their anguish, Simone—a young girl whose parents were slain by aristocrats—decides to confront the corrupt nobles. Donning a red mask to conceal her identity and leaving a red carnation as her signature, Simone is La Seine no Hoshi.

Chuck, a young beaver, goes on adventures with his small friends. Whenever they run into trouble, he often asks his father to come to their aid.

This narrative chronicles the early years of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the figure who would ultimately rise to become shogun and found the Edo Period in Japan.
