Selma is the daughter of the second minister of the Great Empire Ertugrul, who overlooks the sea. To escape from her in-laws, she dresses up as a boy and goes to a café in the city to play the oud, a musical instrument her mother gave her before her death. One day, after leaving home, Selma is abducted by a mysterious man she met at the café just before. She finds herself imprisoned by a certain Rafik, who knows her real identity. But he seems to have other political plans for the Empire and seems to be looking for the missing Prime Minister..
