The father of a high school girl, Hatsune Kozumi, is the abbot of Hoshuzan Kurinji Temple. At the temple's main hall, a "Hyakumonogatari no Kai" (Hundred Tales Club) is held every month. Hatsune's friends, as well as psychics and psychic researchers, attend the meeting to discuss real-life bizarre occurrences and horror stories, including psychic phenomena, yokai, curses, and black magic.
