Young Michiru moves in with her cousin's family in Tokyo's Kouenji district to seek a better education for herself. Seeking a a more secure future for herself after witnessing her mother remarrying for financial security she has dreams of becoming an independent OL. While dealing with her anxiety for the future she becomes drawn to the neighborhood boy Tooru, however she quickly finds she is competing with her cousin for his affection... As this tense love triangle plays out new possibilities for Michiru's future open up.
