When seventeen-year old Remi Nezumino, a mean girl born in the year of the rat, comes across a spirit-beast known as "Nue," she is suddenly transformed into a bishoujo heroine known as an Entrangel. The story follows Remi as other girls are selected to join her as Entrangel, each one based on an animal of the Chinese Zodiac, to fight against their nemesis "Enma"
