O nome do personagem é Kai Shiden. Kai Shiden integra a tripulação do White Base, destacando-se inicialmente pela relutância em se envolver em combates. Embora frequentemente seja visto como um covarde, também é conhecido por sua tendência a flertar com mulheres. Com o tempo, supera seus medos e assume o papel de piloto do Guncannon da nave.
