Nia Liston Adds Izumi, Honizumi & Hidaka as Fall Cast Grows

Fall’s most cheerfully violent young lady just got a bigger supporting circle. The team behind Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden has named three additional cast members alongside a new key visual and the series’ first full promotional video, pushing the adaptation into high gear ahead of its autumn run.

Fuuka Izumi steps in as Rinokis Funk, the Liston household’s fiercely devoted maid; Rina Honizumi voices Hildetora Altoir, the ambitious third princess of the Altoir kingdom; and Rina Hidaka takes on Reliared Silver, Nia’s rival-turned-ally from the Silver domain. They join lead Honoka Inoue as Nia Liston—the frail-looking noble who reincarnated with the soul of a god-slaying warrior and still lives for a proper fight.

Broadcast is set for October 6 at 9:25 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with BS Nippon TV and MBS following. Konami animation is producing under director Motoki Nakanishi, with Gigaemon Ichikawa on series composition. Fans who can’t wait can catch an advance screening of the first three episodes plus a special stage event at esports TOKYO BAY on September 22.

Umikaze Minamino’s light novel, first serialized on Shousetsuka ni Narou and published under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko imprint, has topped 2.1 million copies in circulation. English readers can already follow J-Novel Club’s digital LN release and Square Enix’s Manga UP! simulpub of the comic.
