Jin-Seok Jeon began his professional career in 1998 with "The Last Fantasy," a science fiction shounen Manhwa series. While he started in that genre, he has since earned a solid reputation for his skills as a meticulously subtle shojo writer. In the summer of 2003, during a period of deep depression following the cancellation of a magazine that published his work, Jeon met the woman who would become his wife. This event marked the lowest point of his manhwa career, leading him to consider quitting comics entirely. However, she remained by his side and supported his return to the industry with the creation of "One Thousand and One Nights." The couple married on November 25, 2006. His major works include Gun Beat, Last Fantasy, Combat Bible, Merlin's Magic School, and One Thousand and One Nights.
