Amushasu, a member of the Alaturca Alagun performing troupe, is a firm believer in magic born from talent and hard work—the kind that moves the hearts of an audience. He holds no respect for the magic of genies, even though he happens to own a deeply dissatisfied one named Mayu. His faith in his own ability to sway a crowd is put to the test when he encounters a beautiful young woman whose heart appears utterly unreachable.
