At Midorigafuji Academy, a private girls' school catering to the super-rich, students are ranked by both their family's wealth and their academic performance. Kurenogi Kirie, the undisputed top dog among her peers, enjoys the highest status thanks to her family's massive fortune, which has made her arrogant and controlling. Kirie believes that money rules everything and frequently uses it to put others down, even her closest companions, Saito Misaki and Goto Mayura. However, her entire worldview collapses when she learns that her family's business has gone bankrupt, forcing her to confront the painful truth that wealth isn't forever and that retribution eventually finds its way.
