Rin is a 14-year-old tomboy living with her grandfather in a quiet countryside village. After her grandfather passes away, she is forced to move to Tokyo to stay with her mother. Upon arriving, Rin learns an astonishing truth: her mother isn't an office worker but a famous model named Myu Suzuki. After one evening together, Rin's mother leaves the next morning to follow a man to a foreign country, leaving behind only a letter. With no money to support herself (her mother was unaware of her grandfather's death) and the contract binding Myu's obligations to her modeling agency, Rin must figure out what to do next.
