Rengoku no Ashe

In "Rengoku no Ashe," Bell Teinburen, a sword-wielding monk and part of the Saint Beneze Hospital Knights who safeguard and assist pilgrims, arrives in the town of Brokken Brook. He intervenes to stop an attack on a young girl named Ashe Talton, though he gets injured in the process. Ashe, noticing his wounds, takes him to her house, which doubles as a clinic. During his treatment, Bell observes Ashe's consistent acts of kindness despite her normally emotionless demeanor. After spending time with her, he expresses a desire to remain in the town and attend the upcoming May festival with her. However, Bell is unaware that Brokken Brook’s version of a festival involves a prolonged witch hunt endorsed by the Church, and Ashe is slated to be the next girl accused.
