Love, once it takes hold, is unstoppable. A chance encounter brings together Amakusa Ryou, a high-spec businessman with a casual attitude toward women, and Arima Ichika, his younger sister's best friend who is still in high school. Immediately, Ryou falls head over heels. His approach is almost absurdly direct, while Ichika reacts with open disgust and insults—yet he interprets her harshness as a sign of affection. This romantic comedy follows a twisted elite salaryman and an ordinary otaku high school girl.

Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui was a web manga released on the author's pixiv account from January 25, 2015 to October 17, 2015, and published in print by Ichijinsha as part of volume 1 on February 2, 2016. Official serialization started in Comic POOL on June 3, 2016.
