Haesin Jang Bogo

해신 장보고

"Sea God Jang Bogo," tells the story of Jang Bogo, who opened a small sea route, learned wisdom from the sea, and developed a grand worldview. Jang Bogo was born in Wando during the Unified Silla period and showed outstanding ability in archery from a young age. He was also called "Gungbok" because he was "good at archery." Feeling skeptical about Silla's bone rank system that discriminated against social status, he went to Tang to realize his grand dream.
