In Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, the God of Destruction Enka foretold that one of its descendants would bring about the end of the world before passing away. Years later, a variety of descendants—both human and non-human—are assembled under the Peaceful Family Operation. Their goal is to identify the true heir of Enka and prevent global destruction by emphasizing the importance of family bonds. The story centers on the chaotic daily lives of this unusual family, which includes a catgirl "mother," a lion "son," a sentient land-combat android "son," a jellyfish-like alien "daughter," and a bewildered 27-year-old military officer serving as their "father." Brought together in 2063 by the Imperial Japanese Anti-Paranormal Phenomena Section's Special Operations Forces, this diverse group works to protect Earth from impending doom.
