For a century, magic has persisted as an enigmatic force alongside science. The emergence of MISO—an acronym for Material of an Impediment to the Sorcerer's Orders—turned magic from a rare gift into a skill that could be taught and learned. One morning, while Shōta Hacchōya, a high school student at a magic academy, is having his miso soup, a princess from Majieeru suddenly barges in. It is soon revealed that Majieeru is the source of all magic.
