The "crushing heartbreak romantic comedy" focuses on Haru Tsuwabuki, a boy who must confess his love to one of 420 girls or face dire consequences. At St. Cinderella Academy, a place known as a sanctuary for exceptionally beautiful girls, Haru is one of the few male students. Upon enrollment, he is harshly labeled as a "parasitic biting insect" and quickly finds his school life becoming bleak. Things take a turn for the worse when Haru meets Miyako Dokuutsugi, the unluckiest yet most beautiful girl at the academy, sending his existence from bad to worse.
