Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou

In an alternate version of Japan, "Concrete Revolutio: The Complete Saga" depicts a world filled with a vast array of superhumans. Twenty years after the war, during this imagined "age of gods," Japan has undergone rapid growth and expansion. The story envisions a scenario where all superhumans from every conceivable fictional origin coexist: aliens, mystical beings, ancient spirits and goblins, cyborgs created by scientists, relics from lost civilizations, and countless others. Some of these superhumans live openly and have become popular in society, while others stay hidden and work in secrecy. Furthermore, there exist enemies of these superhumans—secret organizations that threaten their existence. To preserve peace and order, the Japanese government has launched several measures. One of these is the creation of the Overpopulation Research Laboratory, commonly known as the Superhuman Bureau, under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Its mission is to identify, contact, monitor, and protect superhumans. At the heart of the story is Jirou Hitoyoshi, an agent of the Superhuman Bureau.

Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou is based on original TV anime series of the same title. The series was published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in a complete omnibus titled Concrete Revolutio: The Complete Saga on June 27, 2017.
