The Western Planet and the Eastern Planet were once linked by the "Dragon Pulse" that crossed the heavens. The civilization that once flourished has become a distant dream, as unending war tears the world apart. Both planets remain consumed by endless conflict. The revival of super technology known as "sacred treasures" could transform the global order, but only one person knows of their existence—a "heretical girl." A girl from the Western Planet, Jeanne Kaguya d'Arc, receives heavenly visions of the birth of a "Star Messiah" destined to save the world. She sets out for the Eastern Planet alongside Leonardo da Vinci, "the one who observes the world." There they encounter the Eastern Planet's heretic and "the greatest fool of the age," Oda Nobunaga.
