Sousei no Aquarion - Kokuu no Tenshi

In a distant future, humanity once again faces a threat from the Shadow Angels, supernatural beings that have returned after a 12,000-year absence to strike human settlements and capture people in order to drain their prana, or life energy. To fight against this danger, youths with special abilities are gathered from around the world and trained to pilot the vector machines, three ancient vehicles that can combine into the ultimate defensive weapon known as Aquarion. The story revolves around Apollo, a young person believed to be the reincarnation of Apolonius, a former angel who once fought against his own kind.
