After death, those who suffered unspeakable crimes, terrible accidents, or hellish lives find another gate opening for them. The Gate of Grudges is watched over by a woman named Izuko, who presents three choices to those who enter: accept their death and ascend to Heaven, stay on Earth as a ghost, or haunt and kill someone. Though the last option tempts many, the moral weight of their actions condemns them to eternal damnation in Hell. Each victim has 12 days to decide, and Izuko guides them toward a choice they won't regret.

Background

Skyhigh was released in Italian by Edizioni Star Comics from September 10, 2003 to October 10, 2003; and in Spanish by Ediciones Glénat. The series was adapted into a live-action Japanese TV series that aired on TV Asahi for two seasons from 2003 to 2004. The manga was also adapted into a live-action Japanese film that premiered on November 8, 2003.
