In a world where the number of women being born is decreasing and society has become predominantly male, scientists work to find a way to restore humanity and cure the virus. Mikoshiba, a famous, upper-class, bright, young, and handsome scientist, travels to a lower-class area to help with their research, motivated by his interest in Niino—a cute, naive, but average scientist who dreams of saving the world. After moving in with Niino, Mikoshiba proposes a theory he wants to test: that having sex with each other might solve the world's problem.
