Dr. Han Jinsoo strove to live with integrity, yet for his efforts he was dismissed from his job, tricked by a fraud, and ultimately slain by his own professor. However, owing to the many good deeds he had done, a mysterious entity grants him a second opportunity at life. The catch is that he wakes up as Hua Tuo, the famed ancient Chinese healer, amid the chaotic era of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Now he must figure out how to survive a period filled with warfare and legendary figures—while being a surgeon who doesn't even have a single scalpel.
