As the pioneer Evangel, Lufiras is tasked with clearing the world of mischievous lower-level demons. Since no hero is complete without a sidekick, Cadiz, a somewhat irritating Intermediate Level Demon, descends to Earth to ensure his little buddy Lufiras-chin does not go lonely. Accompanied by Manaka, who reluctantly permits them to freeloed off her while staying in Japan, the trio spends their days exterminating low-level demons, devouring kakigoori, and causing chaos at school.
