Todou Tsukasa, also known as "the moody pillar," is pining over unrequited love and steps into a barbershop. The upbeat barber gives him not only a sharp new haircut but also tips on how to present himself better. Tsukasa takes that advice seriously and rises to fame and success. Still, he never forgets the barber who aided him in his time of need and continues to visit often. Yet confidence did not come with the haircut or the fame and success, and his feelings are neither properly communicated nor fully understood.
