Cyber Blue: Ushinawareta Kodomo-tachi is a fresh take on Tetsuo Hara's original series, with new illustrations by Motoki Yoshihara. The story is set in the 25th century, where Blue—a descendant of Terra's colonists on the remote planet Tinos—depends on the Biomatrix, a life-support system implanted in his chest, to survive the planet's severe environment. Tinos is ruled by a Planetary Government that aims to eliminate the Lost, individuals who defy its oppressive regime and are chased without mercy by its military forces. By controlling Biomatrix production and giving them only to those who remain loyal, the government seeks to wipe out the Lost and their children, called the Lost Children. The plot takes place in the grim world of Junk City, where Blue encounters Fats, a powerful robotic AI. This meeting will change both human and machine, shape the fate of the Lost Children, and redirect the course of human evolution.
