It has been several years since the decisive battle with the Sol Masters. Mamoru and Kaidou continue safeguarding Earth from all manner of dangers. Yet, with the remainder of the GGG crew stranded in space following their triumph, numerous enigmas persist and their destiny remains unclear. The present-day GGG and the government collaborate to initiate Project Z, an effort to rescue the original Gutsy Galaxy Guard members. Still, nothing is assured, and new obstacles must be confronted.
