In FC 60, humanity mainly lives in space colonies that orbit Earth. Every four years, a grand tournament decides how these colonies are governed, with each nation sending one fighter to compete using a giant robot called a Gundam. Domon Kashuu is chosen to represent Neo-Japan in this contest. However, his goal is not just to win for his country; he also wants to find his brother, who is accused of killing Domon's parents and stealing a dangerous weapon called the Dark Gundam, also known as the Devil Gundam.
