Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Utsutsukowashi-hen

ひぐらしのなく頃に怪 現壊し編

At St. Lucia Academy, a male teacher's body is discovered in the swimming pool. Mizuho Kousaka, a timid student who is often bullied by her classmates, stumbles upon the corpse but stays oddly composed, having previously experienced death. To help Mizuho gain self-assurance, Shion Sonozaki becomes her friend, and their bond deepens through shared experiences of suffering. Following another body's discovery, suspicion falls on Mizuho, prompting Shion to defend her new companion. This side story in the Higurashi series explores Shion's time at St. Lucia Academy, and also includes an epilogue plus the "Upside Down" chapters from Onisarashi-hen.
