The manga Triangle, created by writer Yamasaki Masato and artist Yanagawa Rio, tells the story of an unusual romance between Akira and his lovely stepmother, Chisato. The affair begins after Akira's father dies and continues in secret. Unbeknownst to the two lovers, Chisato's daughter and Akira's stepsister, Mai, has witnessed them together, awakening feelings within the young woman—who herself keeps secrets from both her stepbrother and her mother. Secrets and forbidden love build until a climactic final chapter where everything is brought into the open.
