After collapsing from a fall on a staircase, photographer Shunji Fujishiro regains consciousness in a hospital bed. He is immediately taken aback and annoyed by the offhand demeanor of his attending doctor, Mutsumi Higa. However, this encounter provides Shunji with the drive and creative spark he had been lacking for his photographic work. Meanwhile, Mutsumi finds himself drawn to Shunji, whose straightforward and impulsive nature stands in stark contrast to his own.
