Haru Jigokumeguri is the eldest daughter of a wealthy businessman, blessed with both intelligence and beauty. Kawayanagi Tsurezure is an odd boy who dresses in 20th century clothing and frequently spends hours staring at the clouds. Haru is proud, haughty, and self-centered, while Kawayanagi cannot manage even the simplest conversation. These flaws cause them to be avoided by their classmates, so the two naturally drift toward each other. The lonely classmates find a companion in Akane Tendou, a cheerful girl who delights in watching them together. With their confidence rebuilt, Haru and Kawayanagi begin a path toward self-improvement.
