The shonen manga Knights follows squire Mistletien, known simply as Mist. Set in a medieval world where the church and its representatives are burning people en masse on suspicion of witchcraft, Mist and his group actively oppose the church and the "Saints" who drive these witch hunts. Mist is feared and despised by villagers because of his appearance—he wears a mask to conceal his identity and is called the Black Knight. He journeys with Euphemia, a young girl whose expertise in mixing potions and poisons rivals Mist's skill with a sword.

Background

Knights was partially published in English by Digital Media Publishing, who published the first two volumes from August 5, 2008 to November 23, 2010, before dropping the license.
