Kuruizaki no Hana

Long ago, when the gods of Japan descended among humans, their half-breed children inherited supernatural abilities—and were given the name "Kuruizaki no Hana." Now, forces from the Demon realm rise to annihilate these descendants, led by the calm and self-assured assassin, Ushitora. He is revered as a ruthless professional, but when he falls in love with one such blessed boy, Masato, everything shifts. Ushitora turns against his own kind, condemning himself to a life of flight, to shelter Masato and a spirited orphan girl named Nao.

Background

Kuruizaki no Hana was partially published in English as Demon Flowers by Tokyopop, who published the first four volumes between September 11, 2007 and October 1, 2008, before the publisher became defunct.
