Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo: Melody of the Sun and Sea

Wataru Hoshino unexpectedly discovers Rinna Sawaki asleep in his room, clad only in her underwear. Upon waking, she punches him in the face and flees through the window. Soon after, Rinna transfers to Wataru's school and moves into the same dormitory as him. Living alongside five other girls and their teacher, they confront an uncertain future after Temizugawa Heavy Industry, the primary employer on South Sakojima Island, shuts down its aviation division. This closure forces families tied to the company—including those of four of the girls—to leave the island within a year. To avoid the pain of separation, Rinna initially refuses to form close ties with Wataru and the others. However, Wataru disagrees with her mindset and spends the next year trying to change her perspective.
