Hidari Te

左手

The story follows a young boy who is terrified of the outside world and only feels secure when he is fully hidden beneath his futon covers. He perceives the futon as a kekkai, a spirit barrier capable of shielding him from malevolent forces. While admitted to a hospital, the boy notices an unconscious pretty girl in a nearby room, with her left hand protruding from her blanket. When he visits her again, he discovers that her left hand has been severed under mysterious circumstances. Overcome with regret, he blames himself for not tucking her hand back under the covers, convinced that a wicked spirit was responsible for the amputation.
