Suderu Koiwa lived a mundane existence as a typical high school student until a school shooting left him mortally wounded. In his final moments, he conversed with an angelic girl who informed him that he would be chosen to participate in a ceremony the following day. When Suderu awoke the next morning, reality seemed restored to normal. However, at midnight that night, he was ambushed by a monster, and the angel reappeared to shield him. Although Suderu had died, he is granted a second chance at life on the condition that he battles monsters and other participants, known as Haikaisuru Mono, while enduring for thirty days. His ordinary routine has transformed into a brutal survival contest, marking the beginning of the Zodiac Game.
