Amid an economic crisis gripping Japan, Shiina Nagasawa turns to prostitution to support her family after her father's bankruptcy. She attends a party where high-ranking government officials are eager to indulge their desires. As Shiina endures this degradation, a masked intruder bursts in—and she recognizes him as her classmate Shou Hazama. Calling himself "Akumetsu," he confronts Japan's former finance minister, listing his misdeeds, then brutally murders him and drags the body to the lobby. When Akumetsu is shot, he somehow blows his own head off. Still in shock, Shiina goes to school the next day—only to find Shou Hazama alive in the classroom. How is he alive, and what does he intend to do?
