Sensei no Barrage

The discovery of alien life transformed the once peaceful planet Industria into a world plagued by racism and endless conflict. Young orphan Astro dedicates his life to working hard and earning enough money to support a group of fellow orphans he has taken in as his own family. His simple existence is turned upside down when he meets Bulge, the Crown Prince of Industria, who is the same age and shares his exact face. The prince is fleeing his royal duties to pursue a life of debauchery. Mistaking Astro for the prince, the royal military captures him, tearing the young orphan away from the family he cherishes. When the King of Industria misidentifies Astro as his own son, the boy is forced into royal life. He spends his days training in combat under the high-ranking young soldier Tiamat, whose only apparent weakness is a paralyzing fear of women. After foiling an assassination plot and awakening the powers of the ancient lance Orgue, Astro is sent off with Tiamat to train with his new weapon and put an end to the trivial conflict between humans and aliens across the planet's surface.
