Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
A sly grin spreads across Nishikata's face as he looks at Takagi, the girl seated beside him in class. He's just come up with a brilliant scheme to finally turn the tables on her after all the relentless teasing he's endured. But just as he's about to put his plan into action, Takagi stops him with a single remark, catching him off guard once more. She has flipped the situation yet again. "If you blush, you lose." That's the unwritten rule that has governed their interactions ever since they first met in middle school. Day after day, defeat after defeat, Nishikata desperately tries to make Takagi's face turn red from embarrassment, but his futile efforts only lead to more mockery. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san was nominated for the 10th Manga Taisho Award in 2017 and placed 10th in the final ranking. The manga won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shounen category in 2021, along with Chainsaw Man. The series was published in English as Teasing Master Takagi-san by Yen Press from July 24, 2018, to March 25, 2025. It has also been released in Argentina by Panini Comics, and in Spain by Editorial Ivrea since April 2, 2019.
