Gouyoku na Megami

This is a collection of three short stories: Gouyoku na Megami, Shokei Toshi, and Kootta Namida. The title story, Gouyoku na Megami, tells a story of the cost of the obsession with female youth and beauty. The main character, high schooler Miharu, is not especially pretty. She lives with her mother and older sister who have their own appearance-related issues, and a father who is almost always at work. One day, Miharu makes friends with a beautiful classmate named Asaka, who is the daughter of one of her mother's former classmates. The pretty teenager insists that her mother is planning to do a brain transplant and steal her body, and that she needs help to prevent it. Could such a bizarre accusation be true? [tethysdust]
