Tao Yu Moshi Zhi Shu

Humanity is extinct! Emerging from the ruins, two rival factions battle for control over the remnants of the world: Cyborgs, representing the advancement of technology, and Beast Spirits, who have returned to a state of harmony with nature. Shi Heitong, a merciless Cyborg assassin who despises everything except sarcasm, is compelled to accompany an idealistic band of Beast Spirits on a journey to heal the shattered world. However, escaping one's history is never simple. In the conflict between machinery and nature, who will claim the Earth?

Background

Tao Yu Moshi Zhi Shu is originally a web comic series which has been published in book format by Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House (湖南美术出版社) since October 2020. The series has been published digitally in English as Last Word of the World by Webcomics and INKR, as Of Machines and Beasts by Tapas Media, and digitally in Italian by Jundo.
